Submission of Certificate of Graduation for the International Sport and Physiotherapy Program

Undergraduate Study Program in Physiotherapy and Physiotherapy Profession, Faculty of Medicine, University of Udayana held the delivery of a graduation certificate for the International Sport and Physiotherapy Program at the dr. A A Made Djelantik, FK Building, Denpasar. (20/7/2022)

The handover of this certificate began with the opening of the Pendet Dance which was staged by students of the Physiotherapy Undergraduate Study Program and continued with remarks from the Coordinator of the Physiotherapy Undergraduate Study Program and the Physiotherapy Profession Dr. dr. Agung Wiwiek Indrayani, S.Ked., M.Kes.

In his speech, Dr. Wiwiek congratulated him on the successful completion of this international education program and hoped that students would be able to apply their knowledge well.

"Hopefully in the future this program will continue every semester and hopefully the Chancellor and Dean will support this program, because this program is very important for accreditation purposes." he said.

The Dean of FK Unud, Dr. dr. Komang Januartha Putra Pinatih, M.Kes., who was present in his speech congratulated the students on the achievements and expressed his hope that the knowledge and experience gained while studying at the Faculty of Medicine Unud can provide knowledge and experience that will enable students to achieve her dream.

"After this celebration, the next will be the beginning of an interesting journey in your life. Congratulations to all students, hopefully they can practice the knowledge they have gained as well as possible," he said.

The event continued with the procession of moving the toga rope by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Unud which ended with a group photo session.

During this period, the international sports and physiotherapy program graduated 14 students, of which the 3 best graduate students were:

2. Joshua Dobler (rank 2)

3. Jacob Algish (rank 3)

In the middle of the event, this celebration was also filled with Kecak dance performances by the international students of the program as a form of respect and appreciation for the knowledge and experience gained while in Bali.

At a glance, the international program of this program, Sports and Physiotherapy is an international program in the form of a short course that lasts for 15 weeks. This program consists of academic activities, excursions, and non-academic activities such as community service. There are 5 courses offered in this program with a total of 30 ECTS including Sports of the Tropic (5 ECTS), Sport Science and Fitness (5 ECTS), Physical Health and Fitness (7 ECTS), Language, Culture, and History (5 ECTS ), as well as Water Sports (8 ECTS) held.

In addition to academic activities, excursions are also carried out by visiting several places that support learning topics. The objectives of this program are to establish close relationships with student mobility, teaching, research and cultural learning programs, strengthen internationalization and student exchange at the Faculty of Medicine and Udayana University, as well as encourage direct interaction in terms of academic and research activities between the Faculty of Medicine and partners. .

Also attending the event was the Head of the Physiotherapy Department, Ftr. Ari Wibawa, S.St.Ft., M.Fis., Administrative Coordinator of FK Unud, Ni Ketut Dewi Megawati, SH., MH, lecturers and students of the Physiotherapy and Physiotherapy Profession undergraduate study programs.
